Chief Scientist

Dr. Chen Dezhen obtained D.Sc. (Tech.) in thermal engineering from Tongji University in 1997. By 2001-2002, she worked as a research fellow at E & R, Technical University, Denmark. In 2004, she worked as a guest scientist in Helmut-Schmidt-Universität, Germany.

She has been principal investigator for over 10 research projects from National and local government, and conducted over 60 R&D projects for corporations. Her scientific interests cover waste to energy and resources, biochar and functional materials production, and flue gas pollution control. She has published 100+ journal papers. She owns 30+ patents including 3 USA patents and 1 EU patent.
