Timber Waste Carbonization Pilot Plant Commenced
In July 2023, a timer waste carbonization plant built by JADE has commenced operation in Shanghai. The plant receives 10 tons per day timber wastes from gardening and forestry and converts them into biochar, syngas and oil by JADE pyrolysis & carbonization technology.
The biochar is used as an amendment in forestry soils due to its qualified characteristics, including high carbon content, high pH, high stability, high porosity, and high surface area. The syngas and oil are used fuel to transported out for further thermal utilization.
